Davido in trouble over 3 deaths of entourage

News24 revealed that Nigerian pop star Davido was interrogated twice by police over strange death of his friend, and after two other members of his entourage died later in the same week.

The incident triggered passionate reactions in Nigeria, where the 24-year-old singer, whose real name is David Adedeji Adeleke, is a generational star with 2.8 million followers on Twitter and five million on Instagram.

Tagbo Umeike had a night of heavy drinking – he had 40 shots of tequila, according to the police – with his friends, including Davido, before his body was abandoned at Lagos Island General Hospital in the early hours of October 3.

Umeike’s girlfriend Caroline Danjuma, an actress in Nigeria’s film industry Nollywood, accused Davido of abandoning his friend, saying he should explain himself.

When first questioned by police, Davido said he was at a club and only heard of Umeike’s death hours after the fact, Lagos state police commissioner Imohimi Edgal told a press conference on Wednesday.

“However, investigation revealed that Davido’s white Toyota Hilux escort driver… took the deceased to the General Hospital and abandoned him in his vehicle on the instruction of Davido,” Edgal said.

“The interim autopsy report stated that the victim died of asphyxia, which means suffocation,” said Edgal, adding that the singer was questioned again on Wednesday.

Two other members of the singer’s entourage died a few days after Umeike. Their bodies were discovered on October 7 in a BMW parked in a private residence in the ultra-chic Lagos area Banana Island.

Local media initially reported the deaths were from overdoses, but police said they were waiting for autopsy results.

In a video published on his Instagram account on Wednesday, Davido denounced “lies everywhere” after internet rumours about the deaths.

“Due to respect for Tagbo and his family, I haven’t spoken about the issue since (his death). Soon, a statement and footage will be released. Enough is enough,” Davido said.

Watch out Eminem ‘Stomps’ on Trump

Eminem accuses the President of disrespecting the military — a charge that Trump recently leveled against athletes who take a knee during the national anthem. In this lyric, he references Trump’s previous attacks on Arizona Sen. John McCain, who spent five years as a prisoner during the Vietnam War. In 2015, Trump questioned whether McCain is a war hero, saying, “I like people that weren’t captured, OK?”

Bobrisky’s feud with Tunde hits new high

Bobrisky shared by

Bobrisky is angry that Tunde Ednut shared another photo on Instagram, showing his bumps.

It is reported that an unedited photo of Bobrisky facial surfaces. This shows the heavy layers of makeup he applied to hide his bumps.

This of course quickly stirred up reactions among social media enthusiasts, with many mocking him, and saying his cream is fake.

He said:

“There is this viral pictures I have been seeing on the internet. I go[t]to know that the post was from Tunde Ednut. As we all know, we all know that Tunde Ednut has no future. He has no career. We don’t even know if he is a comedian or a singer–maybe an artiste. Because the guy sing, the song nor blow. He did comedy and his comedy nor blow.

I think what Tunde Ednut does now is to laugh at people. We all know that his page on Instagram is so boring. Whenever he wants to make his page busy, he will look for my picture, probably go and edit it and post, so the page can go viral. That guy has no sense. And the only reason he is on my case [is this]: one time, early last year, he ‘toasted’ me, and I was like, ‘what the fuck is this’? I blocked him, and ever since, this dude has been on my case..”

And on and on, Bobrisky dragged the former artiste on his private Instagram story. And what do folks think of the drama?

The song, according to the artiste who is signed to Michael’s Creek, is a comeback effort that will take the industry by storm.
“I’m back for good,” he says.

Speaking on his activities for the remaining part of the year, the artiste said that he has already lined up a couple more singles and collaborations for release

“I don’t believe in blowing my own trumpet but I believe in my work. I started singing at the age of 12. I started off in church choir and as a songwriter. I later joined a band, the band later split-up but I continued to push myself within the entertainment industry by picking up different roles such as hosting events, performing at carnivals, weddings, birthday parties, talent shows and the likes,” he said.

“The idea behind the platform was to help build up talents by providing an opportunity for them to showcase themselves on a big stage; the same way someone else gave me my first shot. I want their voices to be heard through the arts which in turn would build up their confidence and make them believe in themselves. So besides being hopefully remembered for making good music, I would love to be remembered for providing opportunities, encouragement and building other creative up,” he adds.

MKO grew up in Aguda, Surulere with his parents and eight siblings. He says that he grew up loving music as he woke up to loud music almost every day

“I am from a big family that loves music from my dad to my eldest brother who is a music director, a singer and a drummer; to my younger brothers who are dancers. So I guess I could say that music has always been a part of me,” he stated.

As indicated by Gourmelon, the princess was cognizant and had her eyes open when he hauled her out of the destroyed Mercedes. “She was moving marginally and I could see she was alive … I could see she had slight damage to her correct shoulder at the same time, other than that, there was not much. D’banj & Phyno doing Eweji

D’banj and Phyno hook up and the result is a tune titled “Egweji”.

D’banj just yesterday dropped his highly anticipated and much talked about album “King Don Come” and the reception so far has been overwhelming.

“Egweji” is off the recently released body of work and none of us saw D’banj working with the king of the east, but the surprise is actually worth it as Phyno laces the beat with his infectious Igbo lines.

With this song and the rest of the songs in the album,we can confidently say the big fish is back in the sea.

The joint was produced by Cheeky Chizzy, an ever consistent feature in the album, who ended up either producing or co-producing 9 songs out of the 12 track body of work.
