Produced by Markit Economics, a leading global financial information services company, the PMI is regarded as the most authoritative and leading independent indicator of business conditions.
The surveys will initially cover data for Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya and each year will see an additional 2 African countries added to the index, covering a total of 11 African countries by the year 2019.
