Many Nigerians love to listen to the songs of Wizkid, Dbanj, and some other up and coming Nigerian artiste. If you watch TV, you may notice that less attention is being given to music in Yoruba language. These songs are known as FUJI or JUJU. There are extensive versions as well, such as APALA, etc.
What is your take? Is juju music better than Nigerian pop songs or is it vice versa? Is the Nigerian media trying to suppress music in local languages, such as Yoruba, Hausa, or Igbo?
