As part of the federal government’s campaign to promote made in Nigerian goods, the minister of information, Lai Mohammed, has paid a visit to the factory of Innoson motors in Nnewi, Anambra state.

During the visit on Monday, June 5, the minister said the policies of the federal government will encourage local manufacturing of products including cars. He said he decided to bring along least 25 journalists to be a part of the tour because the government wanted to showcase to the world that there is a company that is already putting Nigeria on the global map of vehicle manufacturing.

According to the minister, the new policies of the Buhari administration will favour companies like Innoson who are manufacturing products in Nigeria.
